At one of our many business meetings (back when this company was still an idea,) we discussed when we wanted to “launch” officially. We decided on April 15. At the time it seemed so far away, but luckily that time FLEW.

And now it’s finally arrived! April 15, 2019 – our official first day. We’ve finally introduced our new project to the world. The outpouring of support we’ve all received has been overwhelming (in the best way!) To everyone who checked out our site or social media pages, or who liked, commented and shared our posts – THANK YOU! It is because of all our amazing friends and family that we’re able to put everything we have into this company. We can’t put into words how much all of this support is appreciated!

We’ve already got big plans for the rest of 2019 – stay tuned for all that’s yet to come!

Our official launch day is April 15, 2019. We’re putting the final finishing touches on our website, finalizing sample books, deciding where to advertise, and making a thousand other decisions in preparation for that day. We want to make sure that we’re as prepared as we can be when we start meeting with clients. The last few months have finally lead up to this moment and we want it to be perfect!

One item on our to-do list was taking a nice group picture for our “About Us” page on our website. This was easier said than done (see below for an out take from this “photo shoot.”)

The best part about starting this business has been starting it with two amazing coworkers, friends, and now business partners. We’ve developed such a close and special bond since we started this adventure and I can’t imagine having two other people by my side through it all! I can’t wait to see what the next few months (& hopefully years,) have in store for us as we venture into operating our own business. Based on how things have been going I KNOW that we’re headed toward more laughter and great memories together!

Starting a company is no simple feat. The three of us have been working so hard to make sure that we’re 100% ready for our official launch. After establishing our name and logo (which is so much fun when you have two AMAZING designers on your team,) we started getting into all the nitty gritty little decisions that needed to be made. Luckily, our chemistry and ideas were all in alignment and this seemingly stressful process, ended up being a fun and exciting time for all three of us. And now the time has come for us to FINALLY share all of our hard work with the world.

When first starting out, it’s easy to doubt yourself. But I kept coming back to these words

The fear of failure is inevitable when taking a risk. JKS Designs is a risk that all three of us are willing to take. We’ve been giving it our all for months and it’s finally time to share that work with the world. Here’s hoping that this risk pays off and soon we’ll have crossed that bridge and the fear will be behind us!
